Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

¿Dios está dispuesto a prevenir el mal, pero no es capaz? Entonces no es omnipotente. Es capaz, pero no está dispuesto? Entonces es malévolo. ¿Está dispuesto a prevenirla y además puede hacerlo? Entonces ¿por qué existe la maldad? ¿No está dispuesto a prevenir el mal ni tampoco puede hacerlo? Entonces, ¿para qué llamarlo Dios?
